Q. What is the benefit of becoming Master certified?
A. Master certification is the highest credential available in the Microsoft Office Specialist program. Masters demonstrate
the depth and breadth of their productivity skills by passing a series of specialist, expert, and comprehensive Microsoft Office
Specialist exams.
Q. What are the requirements to achieve Master certification?
A. Master certification in Microsoft Office 2000, Microsoft Office XP, or Microsoft
Office 2003 Editions requires passing two expert Microsoft Office Specialist
exams and two specialist-level Microsoft Office Specialist exams. Visit the Microsoft
Web site for specific Master exam requirements.
Q. Can I receive a Master certificate after passing only two or three exams?
A. No. Master certificates are only awarded to individuals who pass all of the
required Microsoft Office Specialist exams.
Q. Can I use Microsoft Office Specialist exams I have successfully passed
from one Microsoft Office edition to qualify for Master certification in a
different Microsoft Office edition?
A. No. All required Microsoft Office Specialist exams must be in the Office
edition in which you seek Master certification.
Q. How do I obtain a Master certificate?
A. After you have completed Microsoft Office Specialist exam requirements and they are confirmed, your Master
certificate will be mailed to you via post mail and should arrive within two to
three weeks.
Q. Can I use the Microsoft Office Specialist logo on my resume or business cards?
A. Although individuals who pass Microsoft Office Specialist exams are encouraged to reference this fact on their
resume and business cards, individuals may not reproduce the Microsoft Office Specialist logo. The Microsoft Office
Specialist logo is copyrighted by Microsoft, and unauthorized duplication or use of any likeness is prohibited.
