The IC³ Authorized Instructor Program is designed for individuals who are qualified as teachers or trainers of basic computing and Internet literacy skills. IC³ Authorized Instructors have the knowledge and skills required to help students become productive users of computer hardware, software, networks and the Internet.
IC³ Authorized Instructors have access to many benefits:
 Authorization to teach and train others to become IC³ certified
Participation in the review and development of IC³ digital literacy standards
Exclusive use of the IC³ Authorized Instructor title and logo
Access to professional courseware training guides and syllabi
Opportunity to participate in the IC³ authorized instructor community:

Program Requirements
IC³ Authorized Instructors must meet the following requirements:
1: Take and pass all three IC³ exams. Authorized Instructors must pass the
Computer Fundamentals, Key Applications and Living Online exams. If you register
for the IC³ exams under more than one username our system will not recognize you as
being IC³ certified. Please contact Customer Services and request that your accounts
be merged.
2: Complete the
IC³ Authorized Instructor Application. We regret that we cannot accept checks as a method of payment for the membership fee.
3: Fax evidence of your teaching qualifications to 801.772.3299. Any
one of the following four documents will fulfill this requirement:
A copy of your teaching certificate or post-graduate degree
A copy of your certificate from an accredited instructor program such as the MOS Master Instructor (MMI) program or the Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) program.
A copy of your certificate from an accredited instructor training program such as the New Horizons Train the Trainer program.
A letter from your supervisor on company letterhead stating that you have two or more years of teaching experience.
Once your IC³ certification has been verified and a copy of your credentials received, your application fee will be processed. You will receive an IC³ Authorized Instructor Certificate and Welcome Kit in the mail.
