North Carolina Career-Technical Education Summer Conference 2003
Certiport is pleased to partner with DPI in offering you a great opportunity at the upcoming North Carolina Career-Technical Education Summer Conference 2003 – Computer Certification Training and Testing!
Certiport, the leading provider of performance based certification products and services, will be delivering
the Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC³) exams at the North Carolina Career-Technical Education Summer
Conference on July 21-25, 2003. All registered conference attendees can take advantage of this convenient opportunity
to become IC³ trained and certified while at the conference. DPI is sponsoring the first 500 exams given. *(This offer
will not include retakes of any of the 3 required exams.)
Training and Testing
For those who would prefer to receive training prior to taking the exams, SerView is offering reduced priced IC³ training at the following times:
 Monday, July 21 two 6 hour sessions are available (spending 2 hours on each of the 3 exams). The first session will be 8am – 2:30pm with a ½ break & the second session will be from 3pm – 9:30pm with a ½ hour break.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the evening two 2 hour sessions each night.

IC³ Testing
The IC³ exams will be available hourly in the Glass Room during the following times:
Tuesday, July 22, 8am – 6pm
Wednesday, July 23, 8am – 6pm, (6pm - 10pm in another lab as needed)
Thursday, July 24, 8am – 6pm, (6pm - 10pm in another lab as needed)
Friday, July 25 at 8am – 1pm
To sign up for a particular testing time, please send an email to ic3@certiport.com with your name and requested
testing time. You may also register onsite during the conference at the Glass Room located in the hotel lobby.
Similar to last year’s event, the Glass Room will remain open after hours as needed.CompTIA A+ website.
Authorized Program Instructor
After you become IC³ certified, you have the option to become an Authorized Program Instructor (API). You’ll receive a
55% discount at the conference- just $25.00! The normal fee is $55.00. For more information on the Authorized Instructor

Digital Camera Giveaway
All participants who take the IC³ exam will be entered into a drawing for an HP Digital Camera. The winner will be announced
on Friday, July 25th. The winner need not be present to receive the award.

As space is limited, we encourage you to sign up for your training and exams in advance and make it a part of your conference schedule.

request a specific time and date for the exam. Please include your name, address, contact number and two alternate test times in which
you'll be available. We'll reply with a confirmation of the scheduled exam
