A: This is a special, limited time offer that includes one free, single-use
DDC Testing Center preparation test with designated IC³ and MICROSOFT

Q: Does this bundle mean that Certiport recommends DDC Training Services and/or
DDC Testing Center preparation tests over other vendors and/or products?
A: Certiport is vendor neutral and has many valued partners. This is a promotional
offer only and does not constitute Certiport’s expressed or implied endorsement
of DDC
Training Services or DDC Testing Center products.
Q: What are the dates for which this promotion will be valid?
A: The promotion is scheduled to be available from 04/28/04 through 06/30/04
Q: Who is the target market for this bundle?
A: Certiport Centers in North America only.
Q: How much will the bundle cost?
A: The DDC preparation tests are included at NO CHARGE with the purchase of
Microsoft Office Specialist or IC³ exams. Make sure to select the proper
SKU when ordering on the Certiport Dashboard.
Q: Will the promotion bundles be listed on the Certiport Product Dashboard?
A: Yes. They are called:

Q: How does this promotion work?
A: A Certiport Center should follow these steps:
1) Purchase certification exams from the Certiport Dashboard using the proper
SKU.
2) Download corresponding preparation test(s) from www.certiport.com/knowb4.
3) Receive Activation Keys via email.
4) Input Activation Keys to enable tests.
Q: How do Certiport Centers purchase the bundles?
A: Certiport Centers should follow the normal purchase process, however the
following special SKU numbers must be ordered:

IC³ Exam w/DDC preparation test SKU # 1100200
Q: How do Certiport Centers obtain their preparation test software?
A: Certiport Centers should download preparation test software from the Certiport
Web site at www.certiport.com/knowb4. An email message containing their Activation
Keys will be sent to the Certiport Center within 2-3 business days.
Q: Can more than one preparation test be loaded on a given system?
A: Generally, one Microsoft Office Specialist version and IC³ can be loaded
on a given machine. Technical conflicts may prohibit loading both Microsoft
Office Specialist test versions on one system.
Q: What are the files sizes of the preparation test downloads?
A: Download file sizes are as follows:

Q: How many times can the preparation tests be used?
A: Preparation tests require an Activation Key. An Activation Key is valid
one “complete” use.
Q: What constitutes a “complete” use?
A: A complete use allows the test to be used until each question has been answered
correctly. Once answered correctly, the question cannot be answered again.
Q: How do Certiport Centers obtain their Activation Keys?
A: Certiport Centers will receive an email message from Certiport containing
their Activation Keys within 2-3 businesses days of purchasing their exams.
Q: How many Activation Keys will be sent to a Certiport Center?
A: A number of Activation Keys equal to the number of exams purchased will
be sent to a given Certiport Center. For example; 25 exams purchased means
25 Keys will be provided.
Q: What happens if a student takes a preparation test but does not pass?
A: Activation Keys enables a test to be taken only one complete time. Suppose
a test has 50 questions and a student gets 45 questions correct and five
questions incorrect. The student could then retake the five questions again
until they get them correct. Once a question is answered correctly it is
considered “complete”.
Q: Are separate Activation Keys required depending on the type of exam purchased?
A: No. Each Activation Key will activate any of the three preparation tests.
Q: Do the preparation tests have a time limitation?
A: No. The tests require an Activation Key and which is valid for one use only.
After one use the test will not work again unless a valid Activation Key
is entered.
Q: Who should a Certiport Center do if they encounter a technical support
issue or question?
