Office for IT Automation and Technological Innovation of the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research to include IC³ within the Italian Education System.

Dear Partner,

TESI is pleased to officially announce that in July an agreement was signed with the Office for IT Automation and Technological Innovation of the MIUR (Ministry of Education, Universities and Research) to insert the IC³ Training and Certification program within the Italian Education System. This agreement includes both public and private schools of all types and levels, and universities that are officially recognized by MIUR. You can download a copy of the agreement in PDF format from the following page: http://www.ic3cert.it/miurtesi/index.htm.

Following the agreement, the IC³ Training and Certification program will be included in all the training paths stipulated by the MIUR and proposed for all the institutions and organizations that are part of the Ministry. The MIUR Web site will give visibility to the agreement so that all academic institutions, teachers and students can familiarize themselves with the advantages provided by the IC³ program.

The convention signed with TESI is posted on the following page http://www.istruzione.it/innovazione/tecnologie/aziende.shtml#tesi of the MIUR Web site. This agreement will give impetus to the diffusion of the IC³ Program. IC³ will now be accorded the same value as other certification programs already present on the market, in terms of training paths that lead to the attainment of IT skills and knowledge use in academic and public institutions. This recognition confirms the value and the quality of the Training and Certification programs proposed by the Italian iQcenter channel, and TESI's efforts to promote and support them.

The IC³ Academy program is already active, www.ic3cert.it/academy. It offers a special training proposal to Italian academic institutions in partnership with Academy Regional Centers. These centers are the interface between academic institutions and TESI which coordinate and manage the IC³ Academy Training and Certification program. As a result of this convention and in effort to set up a support network for academic institutions, TESI is starting to evaluate organizations that are interested in taking part in the IC³ Academy program by becoming Academy Regional Centers in the various Italian Regions.
