Testing computers that will be used by students taking
IC³ exams must meet specific technical requirements.
What Are The Channel Definitions For Certiport Centers?
As a Certiport Center offering IC³ certification, your account will be classified
by one of three types of channel definitions. Before applying, please review
these
definitions:
Academic—A public or private instructional institution
for students ages 5 -19, vocational school, correspondence school, junior college, college, university, or scientific or technical
school meeting all of the following criteria: (i) organized and operated exclusively for purpose of teaching its matriculating ages
5 - 19 or higher education students; and (ii) institutionally accredited by a Regional Institutional Accrediting Agency recognized
by the National Department of Education.
Government (and charity organizations)—An institution not
for profit, wholly-owned and operated by a recognized government entity, official department (example: Labor, State, Armed Forces),
wholly funded by public taxes or wholly funded by private funds through a recognized charitable foundation.
Commercial—An institution that provides training for-profit
and corporate organizations
