establishment of global certification standards by leveraging its performance-based exam technology and services.
Certiport is majority owned by NJK Holding Corporation, a private company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
As the exclusive worldwide provider of the Microsoft® Office Specialist program, Certiport is responsible for the development, marketing, and administration of
certification programs for the Microsoft Office suite. To date, more than 760,000 employees and students have
realized the benefits of increased productivity and advancement opportunities by achieving Microsoft Office Specialist certification.
In addition, Certiport offers the Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC³) program, which certifies computing and Internet knowledge and skills. IC³ validates basic knowledge and ability to productively use computer hardware, software, and the Internet.
Certiport also offers World Organization of Webmasters (WOW) exams. WOW has partnered with Certiport for exam development and distribution of Certified Professional Webmaster (CPW) certification exams through Certiport's channel of authorized testing centers in North America. The first test in this series offered by Certiport is the Certified Apprentice Webmaster exam and certification.
